About Us
At Alpers we are committed to providing unsurpassed treatments to our patients. The Alpers team are all highly qualified and experienced in their area of expertise. We pride ourselves in our high level of patient care and service and we look forward to working with each individual patient to reach and maintain the best oral and overall health possible. In order to do this Alpers utilises the most modern dentistry techniques and equipment that are available. We are not a standard dentist practice that focuses solely on teeth; we are more interested in the overall health and wellbeing of our patients. If we can’t find the answer to a patients’ problem then we will work as a team with other highly experienced health professionals until we have the answer!
Meet Our Doctor
At Alpers we put a huge emphasis on prevention. The way our practice has evolved has resulted in our treatments of preventing problems such as irregularities and improper growth.
We started asking ourselves “Why are we seeing so many children with underdeveloped faces and crooked teeth?”. The more we investigated this question trying to find the answer, the more we realised that the issue is all body encompassing.
So this has led to us developing an all inclusive approach to dentistry, which we cannot achieve without the help of other areas of healthcare.
Our new vision is to create a health centre that focuses on the growth, development and well-being from pre-pregnancy, right through adulthood. The primary focus being prevention and education, we are exceptionally lucky to have such a wonderful team behind us helping to create our dream!
Meet Our Staff
Jacqui is Nic's wife and Co-owner of Alpers, Her background is in Radiology. You will see Jacqui helping in the orthodontic department when she isn't busy at her office desk. Out of work she loves being active with her kids and if you watched the last My Kitchen Rules New Zealand you will probably recognise her..
Cristy is one of our fun loving office gals and has been working at Alpers since 2013. She loves unicorns and the colour pink! Cristy is here to answer any questions you have while waiting for your appointment :)
Kyra is our beautiful orthodontic assistant who has 3 gorgeous daughters and loves the beach. She is one of Alpers most experienced ortho gals and has been at Alpers since 2005! She is all about being healthy and holistic and thinks everyone needs to recycle more!
Angelika is our Steri Bay Star! She makes sure all of our dental instruments are sterilized and ready to be used for all of your plates and braces adjustments. Angelika comes from Kazakhstan and works part time at Alpers while studying to be a nurse! We all think she will make an excellent nurse :)
Quin is one of our expert braces adjusters :) Her favourite thing to do is to travel the world... Which is why it's sometimes hard to get an appointment with her!
Kim is one of Alpers longest kept staff members! She used to work out the back in ortho adjusting plates and braces and now she is on the front desk to welcome you and book your next appointment :) Kim is our bubble queen who lights up the room with her infectious laugh and bubbly personality!
Alla is our braces WHIZ! She is Russian and her favourite word is 'FANTASTIC'. She loves bright colours and seeing her patients end up with a FANTASTIC result!
Lauriane is one of our beautiful French girls. Everyone thinks that she is secretly a Disney Princess... Lauriane has been working at Alpers since 2017. She first started working in our dental lab and then she became an Ortho Assistant. Since then she has moved to Christchurch with her Prince Charming and has had a little Princess of her own. Now she works from home helping patients with their clear aligner treatment through our interactive aligner progress app.
Morgane is our front desk Frenchie! She has been in New Zealand since 2019. You will hear Morgane's beautiful french accent over the phone when you call to book your appointment and she also works out the back doing beauty therapy and crystal healing treatments - If you are interested in booking in for a treatment give her a call! 095245056
Romina is our awesome Chillian dentist who ventured over from the beautiful South American country in 2019. She is part of our hard working Ortho team and is the one to see to get on track with your plate turning and oral hygiene skills. Out of work she loves Salsa dancing and trying new food at dinner with friends!
Giovanna or 'G' for short is the Alpers Brazilian Butterfly! She is our social media gal who you will find fluttering around the clinic recording content and making Instagram stories about a day in the life of Alpers! Agustina is our Amazing Argentinian dentist who is part of our Awesome ortho team. Her bedside manner is A+ and she likes to see her young ortho patients comfortable with their new plates :) Agustina has been in New Zealand since 2015 and she loves it here! We hope she stays forever!
Heather is our lovely hygienist who looks like Tinkerbell from Peter Pan! She is magic at cleaning teeth and is very experienced and happy to share her knowledge about Oral Health with you.
Audrey is our 3rd French gal -BONJOUR! Audrey started at Alpers as the Steribay Technician then became Dr Camilla's assistant. Now she is part of our happy Ortho team :) Audrey loves to laugh and SMILE and to talk with you about your day. Out of work she loves to CROCHET! At your next appointment if you see Audrey, ask her what crochet she is working on at the moment and you will make her smile even more!
