Before going to Alpers, I went to the local orthodontist, and they said that I would have to get 2 teeth pulled out for the treatment to work. My family thought that they would try a new place to get a second opinion. Thankfully, we heard a ad on the radio advertising Alpers, the ad mentioned no teeth extracted when possible. 2 months later, I was wearing a plate, and visiting Alpers every 6 weeks.
